This year the City Council has suspended its Halloween program for three days of official mourning after the train accident in Urda: there is no haunted walk-through, candy trail, Municipal Band concert or parade. Plans not run by the City Council are still on, such as the workshops at Área Sur, the film screening with live music and the parties at clubs. With the municipal program suspended, there are still the "Zombie Days" workshops at Área Sur, for kids aged 3 to 12, with registration. The party at the Ciudad de la Infancia was part of the municipal program and has also been canceled.
